Hearing world, unlimited fantasy, welcome to the radio station of XXMU. We are a team, yes we can. This is Be in English, Im Tony. Recently, I have always fantasized about walking on the holy and pure red carpet with the person in my heart. Like that...Well, It's just in my dream. But of course, maybe everyone has dreamed of the unique wedding of their own. Today we are going to talk about weddings. Let's take a brief view on different traditional customs around the world! After the song, please stay tuned.

On a Chinese traditional wedding, we prefer the red color in dressing and decorating. Although the clothes differ from different dynasties, they have a common name, Hanfu. The original designs have been improving over these years, catering to modern taste. In a traditional wedding, accompanied with a bridesmaid, the bride wearing a red veil and led along by the bridegroom who holds a red silk in his hand, enters the bridal sedan. But sedan chairs are often replaced by cars. And firecrackers are indispensable to Chinese wedding. Because they think the noise can keep away the evil spirits. Of course, there are many other characteristics of Chinese wedding. Such as kowtow three times and relatives or friends banter the newlyweds on the night of the wedding day. I think Chinese wedding is very colorful, like the red, right?

The second type is the western wedding with the bride in white vail and dress, the groom in a fancy suit. There are varieties of dresses in different colors while the white, which represents virginity and purity, is the most popular of all. With the Reform and Opening-up of China, many young people nowadays like to hold western wedding ceremonies. Churches, priests, diamonds, veils, white dresses, honeymoons are all indispensable to Western-style weddings. Of course, there are also many traditions in Western-style weddings. For example, throw the bouquet and carry something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. Over time, while still retaining the unique Chinese penchant for a carnival-like mood, people are more and more receptive to elegant western wedding setting.

Do you want this man (woman) to become your husband (wife) to marry him? Love him (her), take care of him (her), respect him (her), accept him (her), and remain faithful to him (her) until the end of his (her) life, for sickness or health or for any other reason? Hearing this, do you imagine yourself saying I do to him (her). Whether Chinese or Western, or other countries, weddings are the witness of a lover's love. For me, I prefer a wedding that combines Chinese and Western culture. So, what's your dream wedding? Chinese form or western form?
