Copyright Transfer Agreement

Must be signed and returned to the editorial board of the journal before the manuscript can be considered for publication

The Recent Advances in Ophthalmology will be pleased to publish your manuscript entitled:                                                                                                                 (Manuscript No.                          ).

The author(s) of this manuscript hopes to publish this manuscript on the Recent Advances in Ophthalmology and hereby agree to transfer the copyright and related property rights to Recent Advances in Ophthalmology. Some issues are as follows:

1. The contributor(s) of this manuscript hereby conforms that this paper is an original work without involving multiple submissions, plagiarism, and confidentiality issues. If the infringement or disclosure occurs, the author shall bear the responsibility.

2. The contributor(s) of this manuscript grants to Recent Advances in Ophthalmology for the full and exclusive rights comprised in the Contribution including but not limited to the right to adapt, compile, publish, republish, transmit, store and process in electronic media of any kind, include in document delivery services and otherwise use the Contribution in whole or abstracts, figures, tables, and selected text in part throughout the world, in all media of expression now known or later developed.

3. Except for the circumstances stipulated in Article 22 of the Copyright Law of the People's Republic of China, the contributor(s) no longer permits others to use the rights in Article 2 of this agreement in any form, but:

a. The contributor(s) of this manuscript may cite the content in this paper in his subsequent works.

b. The contributor(s) can translate it into another language and republish it again though the paper is published.

c. When the source is indicated, the author can compile the paper into a non-journal anthology.

d. When the source is indicated, the electronic version of the paper can be posted on the webpage of the author or the affiliation.

4. Before the first publication of the manuscript in Recent Advances in Ophthalmology, the page fees will be charged.

5. After the paper was first published in Recent Advances in Ophthalmology, in addition to the payment for the manuscript (including the copyright transfer fee) and the gift of two current journals, the publication of the paper in other forms no longer requires payment of the manuscript and usage fees.

6. This agreement takes effect from the date of signature. The author submits a copy/scan of the agreement in the submission system, and it is deemed that the approved copy/scan has the same legal effect as the original.

7. For other unresolved matters, if a dispute arises, the two parties will resolve it through negotiation; if the negotiation fails, it will be handled in accordance with the Copyright Law of the People's Republic of China and related laws and regulations.

8. The contributor(s) of this manuscript promises the matters decided by this agreement have been informed to all authors, and all authors are invited to sign below to indicate that the necessary copyright transfer has been completed.
