China), edited and published by the editorial team of J Henan Med Univ, started publication in 1984.J Henan Med Univ focuses on scientific research, teaching and medical workers in medical colleges and medical institutions, report new theories, new experiences, new technologies and new achievements in medical, teaching and scientific research, as well as new trends in medicine at home and abroad through fair and impartial peer review, so as to guide and serve medical scientific research, medical treatment and teaching, improve the service of medical scientific research and medical work, and make positive contributions to promote the development of career in medicine and the health of all mankind. The journal aims to be easily accessible, organizing its content according to the article type, including Editorial, Basic study, Clinical study, Review, News, Overseas information and Letters. It is fortunate for J Henan Med Univ to engage professor Ren Wenjie as the editor-in-chief ,as well as the well-known medical experts at home and abroad as the editorial board.
In the 2021 edition of Chinese S&T Journal Citation Reports (Core Edition), the comprehensive evaluation of J Henan Med Univ had a total score of 50.4 points,the core impact factor was 0.917, ranking fifth among journals of medical universities in CNKI, as well as the total citations was 1016,and the other-citation rate was 0.85.On the Impact Factor of Chinese Academic Journals (Natural Science and Engineering Technology) published in 2021, the composite impact factor of J Henan Med Univ was 1.320,and the clout index (CI) was 469.04,which was in Q1 Quartile in the Journal of comprehensive medicine and health.
